ON THE STREETS WITH NYC POST-ELECTION.

I hit the street Wednesday night with the massive sea of unified humanity that shut down NYC on it’s way to the suitably ominous tower that the new President Elect calls home. Now is the time to fight back with positivity and understanding and proaction. We need to talk to and back senators we hear about that can lead all of us together. Barack Obama was just an eager underdog senator in the darkest days of the Bush administration, and he became President. We will have to traverse the darkest days of this country again to come out the other side (I hope we will!) as a unified country for all the right reasons. But I have faith that we will. Begin the march towards the 2018 midterms NOW, to wrestle one of the most dangerous aspects of Trump’s power; complete Republican control of the Senate and House. You can align with Bernie Sanders, and many more, HERE as they push Keith Ellison to chair the DNC. Share senators that you find can enact real unity and get the conversation going in the lead up to 2020, just like they wave that gave us Bernie Sanders and Obama. And finally do not stand for the vile hatred that is being directed at minorities, women, LGBTQ and people of color (particularly youth) not even one day after the election. Speak up and stand with people at risk.boyle_protest_01
