There’s always a few people who say ‘why shoot film anymore?’. Because digital does it for you? Weak argument. Getting back a roll of film you accidentally double exposed is like Christmas. You can’t get double exposures right on digital without a hell of a lot of work, and by then you’ve over thought it. Something magic about light hitting a sheet of celluloid twice. If I find that ass hat that wonders ‘why shoot super 8 film’ I’m gonna smack him in the teeth and ask ‘why paint with paint?’…. Thankfully more, and more, and more younger photographers are bringing analogue back creating demand for film. Because thing don’t have to be 100% perfect and razor sharp on a million megapixels.0602Venice_040602Venice_050602Venice_15
